In order to obtain relevant comment data, I randomly selected the data after two Tencent News homepage refreshes as samples, and the recorded results are shown in Table 1. The "Highlights" section of the Tencent News homepage pushes 11 new pieces of content to users each time it is refreshed, but because of the sticky feature, the sticky news Buy email list remains unchanged after two refreshes. Therefore, I do not consider the top item in the statistics, and think that 10 new content will be pushed after each refresh. By the way, there is no advertising content in the content refreshed on the Tencent News homepage.
Further, I have sub-aggregated the data, see Table 2. It can be seen that the average number of comments per piece of Tencent News is 2,214. From the perspective of different categories, the number of comments on the content of the atlas category far exceeds the other, which is about 2 times the total average. The video content with the least number of comments is less than 1/10 of the total average. The number of comments in the graphic category is basically the same as the overall average.
Table 2 Summary table of sample classification of Tencent News comments
Netease News
I sampled NetEase News in the same way, and the results are shown in Table 3. Every time NetEase News is refreshed, 10 new contents (including sticking to the top) appear. Also no advertising content.
Table 3 NetEase News Comments Sampling Results
The results of classification statistics are shown in Table 4. It is basically consistent with the above-observed conclusions, except that the number of video comments is almost 0. The average number of comments per piece of content reached 6,354, nearly three times that of Tencent News. Other situations are similar to Tencent News, so I won’t go into details.
