Good afternoon, friends at the scene, I am You Peiyun, the script author of "Children from Qingshui ", and I am honored to share this book with you today. Today is June 4th, a very memorable day. The Japanese version of "Children from Shimizu" will be released in July in Japan. Today we are honored to invite Mr. Kuramoto Chiaki, who is currently a teacher in the Japanese Department of Bunzao University in Kaohsiung. He is also the translator of the Japanese version of our book. I would like to introduce Mr. Kuramoto first. Although he is very young, he is an excellent translator who introduced Taiwanese literature to Japan in Taiwan. He has translated Wu Mingyi's "The Route of Sleep", Su Weizhen's "Island of Silence", and Igyan's "Zero Degree of Separation",
"Still Life of Life" by Wang Congwei...etc. The works Photo Restoration Service just mentioned are all literary works. We all know that it is very difficult to translate literature, not to mention that our set is comics. I want to talk to you about how we translated it into Japanese in a moment. "Children from Qingshui" hopes to sell international copyrights from the very beginning. We have an idea, we hope to connect the story of Cai Kunlin 's history from 1930 to 2021 and Taiwan's big history for nearly a century. , that is, the story of the Taiwanese, can also be read by international readers. So when we are writing a book, for example, when the book is opened, we will introduce the era, and there is also a chronology at the back. Readers who want to know the historical details can find relevant information.
This book is to publish the first and second volumes in 2020, and the third and fourth volumes in 2021. I met Mr. Kuramoto at an event in Kaohsiung in 2020. At that time, he went to the Kaohsiung Municipal Library to promote the new book. I see people who are very Japanese, and I don't know why Japanese people have a special temperament (laughs). I chatted with Mr. Kuramoto after the lecture, and then I realized that Mr. Kuramoto saw this book in the bookstore. Then I would like to ask Mr. Kuramoto how he discovered this book, and how did you feel when you first read this book? 06-1 Photo Credit: Provided by Slow Work Publishing Kuramoto Chiaki:
